Grandma’s Story

Leona Williams was a remarkable individual known for her unwavering dedication to serving her community and spreading love and kindness wherever she went. Born on November 13, 1929, she was raised in a family of ten siblings, which likely instilled in her a sense of responsibility and compassion from an early age.

Throughout her life, Leona Williams exemplified the qualities of resilience, strength, and empathy. Despite facing numerous challenges and hardships, she emerged as a beacon of light, offering support and guidance to those around her. Her experiences undoubtedly shaped her into the compassionate and caring individual she became known as.

Leona was actively involved in various community organizations and initiatives. She was a member of groups such as Sherman Perkins and Spiritual Travels Irving and Christie, where she found solace and camaraderie among like-minded individuals dedicated to making a positive difference in the world.
